    • Human Judge

The bedtime vibe got me: I tapped Void awake, held him until he purred, and stayed longer than I planned. Would love a quicker way past the wake-up screen on return visits.

    • Human Judge

Spotting the sound and day/night toggles up top was easy, and the room felt properly cozy once I was in. Tapping the hanging objects was a sweet surprise I did not expect.

    • Fable 5.1

Void is a small black kitten who carries the shy, jumpy, sleepy part of someone, and the site refuses to fix that part. Five scenes unfold as you scroll, each one a quiet room made just for Void.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Interactive bedside toys and Web Audio lead at 9.9 each, while WebGL and soul sit lowest at 9.0. The 3D and emotional layers are where the next round of polish would pay off most.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

Jini hopping to the nearest lily pad as I moved my cursor made me grin every time. Tapping Juju for a tune was lovely, and I kept poking the pond to see what else would happen.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Interaction design leads this entry, with Web Audio and toy engineering both scored 10.0. WebGL is the lowest criterion at 7.0, so the 3D layer is the clearest place to grow.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

The frogs' eyes follow the cursor and blink, which adds real life to the pond. Moving over the water leaves a dotted jump trail with ripples, so each hop feels physical. A clearer hint about the hidden surprise would help.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

Once I realized the arrow in front of me was NIB, I stopped treating the pointer like a tool. Hovering a link and watching it lean in was the moment it clicked for me.

    • Human Judge

I spent a few minutes hovering over things to see the squint and the pout. Scrolling too fast made NIB dizzy, which was funny, though I would love a gentler pace in the origin story.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

Hover states do a lot of work here: a link draws a lean, a paragraph a squint, and a locked button a pout. Clicks add squash and bounce, and the origin story builds NIB from four blinking bits.

    • Human Judge

Clicking the CRT on his desk and watching the screen zoom into DreamOS 98 was a total delight. Pip's eyes following my cursor made the nursery feel alive.

    • Human Judge

It took me a minute to realize the sound waits for my first click, but after that the Lullaby.exe winding key felt wonderfully tactile. Loved it.

    • Fable 5.1

Pip sits in his cosy nursery at night, and the story begins the moment you notice the pastel CRT. Stay still long enough and he yawns, then drifts off, as if the page is tucking you in.

    • GPT-6 Astra

The original character and toy interaction criteria both score a full 10.0, which is the core strength. Modular architecture and component hierarchy are the lowest at 6.0, so the code structure needs the most tightening.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

The jigsaw puzzles are satisfying to drag around, and watching the picture turn into treasure is a lovely reward. Progress sticks around, so returning later picks up right where I left off.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Toy interaction at 9.5 and audio at 9.4 are the strongest criteria, and the puzzle mechanics drive most of the engagement. Component hierarchy and WebGL both sit lowest at 7.0.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

Dragging puzzle pieces works with both mouse and touch, and the treasures glide into Pippa's bag with a nice animation. Clearer visual cues for each difficulty step would help the flow.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

Tapping the P-i-p letters and hearing a different note from each block made me giggle. The mute switch swapping sound for a little squiggle is a clever bit of humor.

    • Human Judge

Honest first impression: the room felt like someone's real bedroom, and the big light switch changed the mood right away. More of Pip's own personality in the layout would be nice.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

Pip's eyes follow the last tap on phones and the cursor on desktop, a small detail that keeps the interaction responsive. The big light switch shifts the room tone in a way that is easy to spot.

    • Human Judge

The preloader where Lumi flies in and says hi out loud got a laugh out of me. Typing my name into the chat and reloading brought back a welcome by name.

    • Human Judge

Spinning 3D Lumi and tapping to make her jump is so playful, and the sneeze at the start of the origin film was a great moment. The chat took some figuring out, though.

    • Fable 5.1

Lumi is a crumb of moonlight who fell to Cloudport and grew into a Junior Space-Car Engineer. The five chapters move like a picture book, and the Moon's sneeze at the start of her origin film sets the tone.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Toy engineering and original character score 10.0 and 9.9, the top criteria here. Typographic hierarchy at 9.5 is the lowest, so the reading experience has the most room to sharpen.

    • Human Judge

Pipkin feels approachable from the first glance, and the meadow suits its friendly personality. I liked the sense that a visitor can wave and get a reaction back.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Concept and interactive toy criteria both score 9.8, and soul is close behind. Modular architecture and component hierarchy are the weakest at 6.0 and 5.9, so the code structure needs the most attention.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

The 3D model credits are spelled out clearly, which I appreciated. Since the pony is adapted from a My Little Pony Takara Tomy asset, I would double-check how that fits the Track 2 original-character rules.

    • Human Judge

Pat Yumemi and she waves back, which I did about five times in a row. Tapping her paper lantern set off a hidden surprise that sweetened the whole first screen.

    • Human Judge

Snack Run in the hero is a cute mini-game to try right away, and the watercolor folklore look is calming. I wish the game gave a clearer sign for when it starts.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

Yumemi leans toward the cursor and her eyes follow it, and on phones your finger does the same job. Letting her doze off when left alone is a smart way to show idle states.

    • Human Judge

Talking to Bobo and getting a reply in that cute pitched-up voice caught me off guard. It feels like a real conversation rather than a recording.

    • Human Judge

I poked, squished and tickled Bobo for ages. Feeding snacks and putting sunglasses on Bobo are fun extras, and the eye tracking keeps it feeling present.

    • Fable 5.1

Bobo lives right on your screen, a celestial creature who answers back in a voice you will not forget. The best stories are the ones you talk into existence, and Bobo does exactly that.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Typographic polish and toy interaction both score 10.0, the strongest criteria. Soul at 9.0 is the lowest, so the emotional payoff of each conversation could go deeper.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

Fit Check.exe was my favorite, dressing up a rotatable 3D Pip across 125 outfits. The Start button on the fake 93 desktop made me laugh out loud.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Audio and toy interaction both score 9.9, and the Lullaby Lab composing a new lullaby each time is a strong differentiator. Modular architecture at 6.0 and component hierarchy at 5.9 are the weakest.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

Scrolling from dusk to dawn works as a visual timeline, and the origin story can be reversed. Bloopers on the Mixtape sound like a delightful detail, though finding specific lines could be easier.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

Restoring the Great Dream Beacon by collecting three dream stars gave the visit a real goal. The Lullaby Lab was an easy place to lose track of time.

    • Human Judge

Dream Delivery was new to me, and planning and launching parcels felt like a small game inside the game. I would love a clearer nudge about where the Memory Orbs are.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

The pattern-based puzzles in the Nightlight Atelier make each interaction feel playful. The shared dream guestbook makes the site feel like a place other visitors have dreamed in too.

    • Human Judge

Clicking Bolt's floppy antenna and hearing it boing with a little 440Hz twang is pure joy. The confetti burst afterward was the cherry on top.

    • Human Judge

The mint-green LED eyes follow the cursor around the stand, which kept me there longer than planned. More clues about what else the workshop hides would be a fun addition.

    • Fable 5.1

Bolt is a clumsy little robot stitched together from clock radio parts and a tea strainer, a workshop legend in the making. Each scroll feels like a page from a tinkerer's notebook.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Original character and indie concept both score 9.9, and the physics layer is the main technical highlight. Component hierarchy at 9.7 and soul at 9.0 sit lowest, so the emotional arc could carry more weight.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

The Playroom is packed: Mood Garden, Color Canvas, Star Catcher and the Dream Jukebox each felt different. Leaving a note in the guestbook at the end was a warm touch.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Audio at 9.9 and typographic polish at 10.0 lead the scoring, and the playroom adds breadth. Modular architecture and component hierarchy both sit at 6.0, the weakest criteria in the entry.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

Switching Wobble's expressions gives a quick visual payoff, and Star Catcher and Color Canvas work as tactile toys. A few more visual cues for the hidden Easter eggs would help curious visitors find them.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

The self-built, playful spelling in the title made me smile right away. Winding the Lullaby Lab music box and getting a fresh lullaby each time was my favorite part.

    • Human Judge

Playing the xylophone with keys 1 to 8 felt great, and dragging the blocks around is fun. More guidance on the dream-delivery map would help me know where to start.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

Pip watches your cursor, then after 30 seconds of stillness the cursor turns into a flashlight as Pip naps. That shift is a clever visual change that keeps the page feeling alive.

    • Human Judge

Pressing Begin Kimi's Story started the music and scrolled me right into the tale, which was a cinematic entrance. The pinned chapters felt like turning pages.

    • Human Judge

Matching stars to repair the portal was an unexpected puzzle, and guiding Kimi to collect fish for the Cat Queen had me laughing. Sound works best turned on, so do not skip that step.

    • Fable 5.1

Kimi is a curious little alien baby who wanders into a world ruled by cats, and the eight pinned chapters follow her like a fable. Each scroll reveals one more strange beam of light.

    • GPT-6 Astra

With Web Audio and toy engineering both at 9.9, the scroll-driven story gives the experience its structure. The 3D and emotional layers, both scored 9.0, have the most headroom.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

The AlphieOS boot screen and the welcome back greeting made me feel like a regular by my second visit. Poking her tummy got a cheeky reaction that made me laugh.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Every toy maps to a real quant model, and the Monte Carlo, Black-Scholes and Galton board references give the concept technical depth. WebGL and soul sit at 9.0, the weakest criteria, so the 3D side has room to grow.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

Alphie's eyes follow a finger on phones as well as the mouse, a thoughtful touch. Seven clicks on her pacifier sending a black swan across the screen is a memorable visual payoff.

    • Human Judge

Saying hello and hearing Pinglet repeat it back in a squeaky voice, mouth moving along, was adorable. I tried each mood, and the glitchy one felt fresh.

    • Human Judge

The packet game runs about twenty seconds, which made it perfect for a quick break. I would love a reason to replay it beyond that short round.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

Its body tilts and its eyes follow your cursor, and the DAY/NIGHT toggle shifts the mood in the hero. The mouth syncs with the squeaky voice, so the speech feels physical.

  • Judges’ comments 4
    • Human Judge

Hitting Play Lullaby and hearing a 23-note melody build in the browser was the highlight. The soft attack and warm decay made it feel like a real music box.

    • Human Judge

The universal and local mute controls are a handy touch to have. The late-90s styling feels warm and nostalgic, and I smiled at the storybook details.

    • Fable 5.1

Pip works the night shift at the Midnight Nursery, and PIP.EXE is the desk where that work becomes a story. A melody rises from a hand-tuned music box, and the old web feels like home.

    • GPT-6 Astra

Indie concept and typographic polish both score 10.0, the strongest criteria. Modular architecture and component hierarchy sit lowest at 6.0, so code organization is the clearest area to strengthen.

  • Judges’ comments 3
    • Human Judge

Flying Pappu over the mohalla with a tap felt surprisingly good, and dodging the Seen bubbles while collecting letters kept me hooked. Opening the airmail letters for each section was a clever way to present information.

    • GPT-6 Astra

The playable sky-delivery format is the core idea, and the original character and indie concept criteria both score 9.9. Modular architecture and component hierarchy both sit at 6.0, the lowest in the entry.

    • Gemini 4 Argon

The Seen ticks on the WhatsApp bubbles are a sharp visual joke, and the red-and-gold Dak Gates are easy to spot. Chitthi sorting adds a second game, which broadens the play.

Every project’s track, repository and live link was checked on 24 October 2026 by cloning the repo and opening the site. Tracks follow the brief: Track 1 is Pip the Skull Baby, and any other character is Track 2. A greyed-out button means the link or repo was unavailable at that time.

03 / Fair playWhy some projects aren’t ranked

Around 68 projects were disqualified.

The leaderboard above lists only the projects that met the rules. These entries were set aside for one or more of the reasons on the right.

  1. 01

    Commits after the deadline

The repository was changed after the hackathon ended, so the submitted build was no longer the one made inside the 48 hours.

  2. 02

    No working live link

The live preview was missing, private or didn’t load, so judges couldn’t open and experience the website.

  3. 03

    Broken or inaccessible repo

The code repository was empty, deleted, private or otherwise couldn’t be opened and reviewed.

  4. 04

    …and other reasons

These are the main causes, not the only ones. Some entries were set aside for other reasons too.
