Yes! Baby's First Website celebrates retro experimentation and creativity over corporate complexity, with active engineering mentors available 24/7 on Discord.

Question 3

Can I use AI coding agents during the Hackathon?

Accepted Answer

All modern LLMs, coding copilots, and autonomous agents (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) are 100% permitted. However, all submissions must compile cleanly (exit code 0) and pass automated test harnesses.

Question 4

What happens if my code fails to build or crashes on startup?

Accepted Answer

Submissions must exit with status code 0 in our automated container test runners. Build errors or runtime crashes receive an immediate zero score.

Question 5

Do I need to create a PowerPoint slide deck or pitch video?

Accepted Answer

No. Slide decks and PowerPoint presentations are 100% banned. Judging is conducted exclusively on working code, live demos, and Git commit history.

Can I compete solo or do I need a team?

Accepted Answer

You can participate as a Solo Wolf (1 developer) and retain 100% of the bounty credits and physical swag, or form a strike squad of 2 to 4 collaborators.
